How Math-Center began
Hi, my name is Lucia. I am a mother to 4 kids. I worked for over 20 years as a finance professional and left my last position in early 2020. Then the COVID-19 pandemic arrived. Being at home for months with my kids, I was looking for educational resources to keep them on track with the learning plans while schools were closed. I found that there are some very nice websites but mainly in English and usually not entirely free.
I believe math should be attainable for everyone! This was when my family and I thought of establishing a website to give parents access to resources and worksheets to help their children learn.
I am not a math teacher, so I partnered with math content specialists. We translated all resources into 8 languages and partnered with local teachers to adapt to local curriculums. This way, when choosing a country, the grades and topics will match that specific country.
Our vision
Our vision is to allow parents free access to various math learning resources and worksheets so that every child who needs help with math can get it at home.
How to use the website
Math-Center addresses ages from pre-Kindergarten to 6th grade, and provides you:
Answer sheets
All worksheets have a separate answers sheet! So when you want your child to practice a topic you don't need to master it yourself or spend time solving it. you can save time by checking the answers page.
Filter the content
You can filter your search results by category: Smart online practice, printable worksheets, fun games and puzzles, coloring pages, or learning resources.
Search easily
You can search by topic or grade (or both) using the menu and checking the box.
Graded sheets
The worksheets are numbered according to difficulty, '1st' is the entry-level, with more advanced versions following. We also stamp our worksheets with a level stamp from basic to advanced and up to challenge.
Explanation pages
Our learning resources include explanation pages because, for some of us parents, it's been a while since we were in elementary school calculating our own fractions and multiplication facts. These pages offer ways to teach our kids.
full curriculum
We also provide the full curriculum per grade and country, so if you are still determining what your child should know, you can use these sheets to check the curriculum in your country.
We hope you enjoy the website
We welcome any comments/suggestions
Good luck!
