In the sixth year of elementary school, children will mostly apply skills already learned to solve more advanced problems.
They will continue practicing place value in decimal numbers and learning about prime and composite numbers and will be able to perform arithmetic operations with negative numbers.
Other subjects in this year’s curriculum are multi-digit multiplication and division, problems involving percentages, statistical variables, a full cartesian coordinate system, and more.
